Affiliate Program

These terms govern your participation in the Certified Catholic Affiliate Program. By enrolling, you agree to everything below. If anything here conflicts with general program terms on our platform, these terms control.

1. Commissions & Payouts

Commission Rate. You earn 10% on the net sale price of each qualifying sale made through your unique affiliate link or coupon code. A qualifying sale is a completed purchase that is not subsequently returned, refunded, or charged back.

Cookie Duration. Referral tracking cookies expire 30 days after the referred customer’s initial click. Sales after expiration are not eligible for commission.

Payout Threshold & Schedule. Commissions become payable once your balance reaches $25.00 USD. Payouts are processed monthly on a net-30 basis following the close of our return window. We may withhold payment on any commission flagged for potential fraud or policy violation pending review.

Payout Method. Commissions are paid via PayPal or another method designated by us. You are responsible for any fees charged by your payment provider and for all applicable tax reporting obligations.

2. Content License & Usage Rights

This is the important part. Read it carefully.

License Grant. By creating any content in connection with promoting Certified Catholic (“Affiliate Content”), you grant Certified Catholic a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, fully transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such Affiliate Content in any media or format, whether now known or later developed.

What This Covers. Affiliate Content includes but is not limited to photos, videos, Reels, TikToks, Stories, captions, testimonials, reviews, unboxing content, and any other material you create that features or references Certified Catholic products or branding.

How We May Use It. We may use Affiliate Content for paid advertising (including Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, and any future platform), organic social media, email marketing, our website, print materials, in-store displays, and any other marketing channel. We may crop, edit, overlay text, add branding, combine with other content, or otherwise modify Affiliate Content without prior notice or approval.

No Additional Compensation. Your affiliate commissions constitute full and complete consideration for the rights granted in this section. No separate licensing fee, usage fee, or royalty will be owed for any use of Affiliate Content under this license.

Attribution. We may, but are not obligated to, credit you as the original creator when using Affiliate Content. The absence of attribution does not constitute a breach of these terms.

Your Representations. You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, releases, and permissions for any Affiliate Content you create, including model releases for any identifiable individuals. You will not include any third-party copyrighted material, trademarks, or intellectual property in Affiliate Content without proper authorization.

3. Brand Guidelines & Conduct

Brand Voice. All Affiliate Content must be consistent with the Certified Catholic brand: confident, warm, culturally engaged, and faith-positive. Content that is preachy, divisive, politically inflammatory, vulgar, or otherwise inconsistent with our brand values is prohibited.

Accurate Claims Only. You may not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about our products, pricing, or charitable giving. You may state that 10% of net profits are donated to Catholic Charities USA, as this is accurate. Do not overstate or misrepresent the nature or amount of charitable contributions.

Logo & Trademark Use. You may use Certified Catholic logos and product images provided in the affiliate portal for promotional purposes only. Do not alter, distort, or modify brand assets. Do not use our trademarks in your social media handle, domain name, or business name.

Prohibited Channels. You may not promote Certified Catholic through unsolicited email (spam), paid search ads bidding on our brand name or trademarks, coupon and deal aggregator sites, or any channel that misrepresents the origin of traffic.

4. FTC Disclosure & Compliance

Required Disclosure. You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with Certified Catholic in every piece of Affiliate Content, in compliance with the FTC’s Endorsement Guides. Acceptable disclosures include #ad, #partner, or #certifiedcatholicpartner placed where viewers will see it before engaging with the content.

Platform Rules. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service and advertising policies of every platform on which you promote Certified Catholic. We are not liable for any penalties you incur for non-compliance.

5. Termination

By Either Party. Either party may terminate participation in the Affiliate Program at any time, for any reason, with written notice (email is sufficient).

By Us, Immediately. We may terminate your participation immediately and without notice if you breach any provision of these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or create content that damages our brand or reputation.

Effect of Termination. Upon termination, your affiliate links and coupon codes will be deactivated. You will receive payment for any outstanding qualifying sales commissions earned prior to termination, subject to the standard payout schedule and fraud review. The content license granted in Section 2 survives termination and remains in full effect.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Certified Catholic’s total liability to you under these terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Certified Catholic be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. General

Modifications. We may update these terms at any time by posting revised terms to the affiliate portal or notifying you by email. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Independent Contractor. You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and Certified Catholic.

Entire Agreement. These Additional Terms, together with the general Affiliate Program terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Certified Catholic regarding the subject matter herein.
